The resurrection is the most important moment in history, but it’s more than an event we remember on Easter Sunday. Join us on Wednesday nights during the Lenten season as we take a deeper look at Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection with Pastor J.D. Greear leading us in a study based in the Gospel of Matthew, revealing the ways we should see ourselves in Jesus’s story. Jesus died for us so that he could be alive in us today. Easter changes everything.

Each Wednesday during the Lent Season we will share a meal of soup & bread followed by discussion. You won’t want to miss it! Families eat together, with the youth group going to their meeting afterwards. Childcare provided for kids, preschool – 5th grade.

J.D. Greear is the pastor of The Summit Church, in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. He completed his Ph.D. in Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Chick-fil-A, as well as serving as a Council member for The Gospel Coalition. Pastor J.D. and his wife Veronica are raising four awesome kids: Kharis, Alethia, Ryah, and Adon.
