SCF Women
Purpose Statement
SCF Women aims to encourage friendship, discipleship, personal and corporate growth, and the development of hearts that are readily inclined to reach out to our surrounding community.
The SCF Women’s Ministry sponsors a variety of activities and events for the women of our church. A yearly retreat provides an opportunity for more in-depth time together and a deeper look at both the heart of God for each one of us, as well as the part we play in His broader purposes. Women in all stages of life are welcome to participate and new ideas for fellowship, study and outreach are always appreciated. We are creating an environment where every woman is uplifted, honored and valued, as we help one another create a gracious sense of belonging, that stretches beyond our own walls.

Revelation – A Precept Study
September 14 – December 7
Part one of a precepts study on Revelation. This will be a study of chapters one through three of Revelation that contains God’s message to the seven churches of Asia and the apostle John’s vision of the glorified Christ. See how God’s messages recorded by John so long ago still speak to the church today. The study includes a workbook and a DVD video.

1 Corinthians – A Precept Study
Begins September 15 with a potluck. Ends December 15
Have you ever asked, “Why are there so many divisions in the church?” Or, “Why does the church sometimes tolerate sin?” Do you find it discouraging when your own church experiences divisions and difficulties? If you have similar questions, this Bible study will help you discover how the Apostle Paul guided the Corinthian church who had questions like these and more. Some of their questions were around immorality, lawsuits, marriage, singleness, sacrificial food, worship, resurrection, speaking in tongues, and giving. In this Bible study on Corinthians, discover how these divisions affected the church and learn to pray for yourself and your church when it comes to human challenges and the practices that divide.
