INTERNSHIPS

SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

ROMANS 12:1-2

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of Godʼs mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to god-this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Godʼs will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

OVERVIEW

The goal of the SCF Youth Internship is to provide a space for a select group of students to study the Bible, explore their calling, grow in their faith, and serve the local church.

SCF Interns will gather twice a week for bible education, leadership devlopment, mentorship service, and outreach.  Throughout the summer we will work on projects at the church, go deeper in the Word, build Christian habits, and become a tighter group. Whether it’s painting rooms, helping with VBS, serving at our Mission of Hope food pantry, learning different Spiritual disciplines, practicing sharing and defending our faith, or studying different books in the Bible, there’s plenty to do! Over the summer, we’ll have approximately 50+ hours of volunteer service that would be great to add to resumes or scholarship/college applications.

Towards the end, we will take a group to the MVMNT Conference in
Montana, a 4-day Youth Conference where we’ll camp out in the beautiful Big Sky landscape and hear from some amazing teachers, pastors, and worship groups!

WHEN

This is an 8-week program that begins the week of July 1 – August 20.
