The Cove Palisades State Park

Family Camp is a time to relax, enjoy the sun (usually), try some tubing (or if you’re really feeling adventurous, try some wakeboarding or knee boarding), hike, sit around the campfire and roast marshmallows, and visit with people. That’s why we like it! What makes these days great is the chance to get away and really get to know people in a different setting, other than Sunday mornings. There’s something about getting away that makes you grow closer together as a group and grow closer to God.
As a state park, the campground has hot showers, paved trails, green grass, and shade. The lake access to the day use area is a stretch of the legs down the trail or you can choose to drive your gear and drop it off. There are lots of trails in this area plus boating and a great place for paddlers.
Some families have chosen to go for the full week and others adjust their days to make it work best for them. We have reserved a block of camping spaces and can adjust the dates on your desired camping dates. You provide your own tent or RV and food. You’re camping with your family but have a lot of church family around you!

Quick Facts
Cost: $54 a night + $10 registration fee
Extra Vehicle: Each campsite fee includes parking for one vehicle and a tow vehicle. Campers may have a total of two vehicles per site; extra vehicle is $10 per night. Additional vehicles may not be allowed in the park overnight. Alternative parking available only for 2nd vehicles that do not fit on parking pad. Overflow parking is available for boat trailers that do not fit in the site or on the parking pad.
Pets are welcome but must be physically restrained, meaning you must be holding them, holding onto their collar, or have them on a leash no longer than six feet.
