Small Groups

ENJOY One Another | STRENGTHEN One Another | ENCOURAGE One Another

Our new Small Group model launching this fall.

At SCF, our purpose is “Together Discovering God’s Dream for our Lives”. We believe that dream is rooted in authentic, loving relationships. God declared from the beginning that it is “not good for man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18), and He designed us to find healing, encouragement, and freedom through community with one another. As our church grows larger to reach as many people as possible with the message of Jesus, we also want to grow smaller to ensure everyone has a place where they are known, cared for, and supported. That is why we are thrilled to announce our new Small Groups model launching this Fall!

How Small Groups Work
We are moving to a term-based, free-market model, making it simple and flexible for everyone to connect, build life-changing relationships, and grow in faith. We will have three 12-week terms per year offered in fall, winter, and spring with breaks in between where groups meet together weekly

One of the best parts of term-based groups is the freedom to choose your commitment:

  • Try Something New Each Season: Joining a group isn’t a long-term contract. You can sign up for a 12-week group and when the term ends, you can choose to try a completely different group topic, join up with new friends, or jump back into the same style group for the next term.
  • Easy Entry Points: These 12-week cycles give everyone in our church family regular, fresh opportunities to step into community throughout the year without feeling locked in.

Free Market: “Your Life is Your Group”
Our groups are built around the things you already enjoy and care about! From Bible and sermon discussions, parenting, marriage, and financial stewardship to casual activities, sports, mom groups, and creative arts—there is something for everyone. Groups will meet in a variety of places, including homes, coffee shops, parks, and the church building

We can’t wait to see how God moves as we step into this new season together!

Fall Term

September 13 – November 22

Small Groups are how we care for each other.

Small Groups are all about real life change through authentic relationships. God designed us for community, and in Small Groups, we find a place to connect, grow, and support one another in our faith journey. Whether you’re looking for a fun activity or a Bible study, there’s a group for you. Life is better together, and we can’t wait for you to experience the power of Small Groups!

Common Questions:

How do I join a Small Group?

When the online directory is open, you can search for a group to join based on your interest and availability. From the group listing, you can join a group or reach out to the leader to ask any questions. The online directory is on our website as well as the Church Center app under “Groups”.

What exactly do you do in a Small Group?

Small groups are a place for you to grow in relationships with others, through an activity or discussion. We believe God wants every person to experience abundant life here on Earth and designed us to find freedom and healing in relationship with others.

Are kids welcome/childcare provided?

You can search for groups where kids are welcome or that provide childcare using the online directory search filters. If childcare is provided, details for childcare will be included in the listing.
