What you truly believe about the power and majesty of Jesus Christ is the single greatest factor in how you worship Him, how you serve Him, and how you weather the storms of life.

The Parable of the Sower and the Parable of the Weeds require us to stop looking around and start looking inward. We are commanded to examine the authenticity of our own faith. Our temptation is to become experts at spotting and treating the weeds in other people’s lives, but our divine mandate is to focus on our own fruitfulness. Humbly and joyfully receive the message, but do not stop there. Prove the message by the quality of your transformed life.

In your life, will you gladly submit to the authority of Jesus? Will you submit to His authority, not reluctantly, but gladly, knowing His ways are best? He has met our deepest need through His death on a cross. And if we can trust Him to do that, then certainly we can trust Him in every other area of our lives.
