Production Technology
Purpose Statement
SCF Production Technology exists to provide top-level service to our church community by preparing, operating, maintaining, supporting and seamlessly integrating the technologies of audio, lighting, video and graphical presentations during our worship services.
Production technology volunteers contribute to sound, light, visual and video production of weekly worship services and other church events, both in-person and online.
PRODUCTION TEAMS
There are multiple opportunities for you to join us in ministering to others through the SCF Production Team.
PROJECTION OPERATOR
Responsibilities
- Operate projection system during scheduled worship services
- Develop and grow in technical abilities
- Develop and grow in spiritual health
- Recruit and help train others to serve in ministry
Requirements
- Basic computer skills (able to operate a keyboard and mouse)
- Excellent reading and auditory skills (words transition quickly during songs)
- Able to be scheduled in advance
- Significant others and friends will need to sit out in auditorium (not in tech booth)
Interested in serving as a Projection Operator?
SOUND TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities
- Operate audio system during scheduled worship services (or at schedule events as appropriate)
- Participate in rehearsals and sound checks as scheduled
- Develop and grow in technical abilities
- Develop and grow in spiritual health
- Recruit and help train others to serve in ministry
Requirements
- Excellent hearing
- Able to be scheduled in advance
- A basic knowledge of music is recommended

VIDEO TECHNICIAN/PRODUCER
Responsibilities
- Operate video switcher during scheduled worship services
- Produce a visually appealing final product for our online service
- Develop and grow in technical abilities
- Develop and grow in spiritual health
- Recruit and help train others to serve in ministry

- On-your-feet quick decision making
- Able to be scheduled in advance
