Discipling and Mentoring

Student Ministries

6th - 12th Grade

IN PERSON – Every Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:15 pm. Students will meet to learn more about Jesus together, play games and have some fun together. We are currently meeting outside in the tent where masks are not required but we will still be following physical distancing guidelines. Masks are required if meeting inside.

Our last weekly meeting will be on June 16. On this day, we will have a BBQ and play games together to celebrate the end of the school year! Incoming 6th graders are invited to join.

SUMMER FUN – More information to come but we are going to have some fun this summer. Four daytime events including lifesize foosball, lifesize battleship with water balloons, a slip ‘n’ slide competition, and a kickball tournament. There will also be a weekly devotional booklet available at the end of year party to go along with a weekly podcast for the summer.

WEEKLY PODCAST – Listen to our weekly podcast, hosted by Student Ministries leader, Devin Geiger. New episodes every Wednesday. Available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, just search for “SCF Student Ministries”. Also available through the button below for anyone who doesn’t have those options.

LOOK & SEE: A SERIES ON EVANGELISM

SERIES OVERVIEW:

Have you ever been confident about something (like, really confident) only to find out later that you were really wrong? It happens! We’re all bound to get things wrong once in a while, but when our eyes are opened to the truth, what matters is that we change our minds. But when it comes to Jesus, it’s not always easy to know what the truth is or how to share that truth with others. What do we do with all of the big questions that hard to answer? Is Jesus still trustworthy even when His followers mess up or life gets hard? In this 4-week series, God invites us to look, and then see, that Jesus is someone we can believe in, Jesus teaches us new things, God can use your story to help others see, and God gives us the strength to keep following Jesus.

Purpose Statement

SCF Student Ministries exist to help students become exposed to, experience, and express Christ, His kingdom and the Biblical purposes of His Church.

Middle School

6th - 8th Grade

Middle School Ministry

If you’re just checking Jesus/God/Church out, this is the perfect place to start. A large group of students will gather together for each week to hangout, meet new people, worship with some awesome music, play some of the most ridiculous games you’ve ever seen, listen to life changing messages, get connected with caring adult leaders, help run different elements of the service, and get to know God in the process. It’s our big event that we will do for you! That means it’s fun, interesting, inviting, and exciting!
