We believe that everyone can walk in freedom. We would love to talk and pray with you about what is going on in your life and help you discover your next step.

Our lay pastoral care ministry, Lifecare, exists to help when you need a listening ear, to assist you in finding out what God has to say about your concerns, in the Bible and by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we all come across life issues where we become stuck – relationally, emotionally, spiritually. Sometimes it’s a crisis. Other times it’s just our daily walks.  Lifecare is here to help you.

We are a team who have been trained in Biblical counseling, authorized by the church, experienced in helping people. We are not psychologists, but spiritual and Biblical coaches. It’s absolutely amazing how much God has to say to us in His Word and at times we need one another to uncover that!

Our goal is not only to help you get “unstuck”, but for each one of us to become a disciple, more like Jesus. That is the purpose of life’s difficulties in our lives. Jesus is our model and we follow Him because that’s the best way to live, but even more importantly, because He is our Lord.

Typically, when we meet with someone, we work in 2’s, so you get the benefit of 2 perspectives. We may meet just one time, or weekly, for as long as it takes to see you through.

To get started, you can talk to the director of Lifecare, Rob Ambrose, to anyone on the Lifecare team, to a staff member, to your home group leader, or to an elder. Call the office, or just check off the box on the Connect card that says, “I want to talk to a pastor”. Either Rob Ambrose and/or Rob Barnes will determine who might be the best to follow up with you.

Please don’t wait until your concern grows into a crisis. It’s free of charge, so please take advantage of it whenever there is a need – small or large!
