Family Camp is a time to relax, enjoy the sun (usually), try some tubing, or if you’re really feeling adventurous try some wake boarding or knee boarding, hike, sit around the campfire and roast marshmallows, and visit with people. That’s why we like it! That’s why we come! That’s why you should come too! What makes these 3 days great is the chance to get away and really get to know people in a different setting other than Sunday mornings. There’s something about getting away that makes you grow closer together as a group and grow closer to God.
As a state park, the campground has “free” hot showers, paved trails, green grass, and shade. The lake access to the day use area is a stretch of the legs down the trail or you can choose to drive your gear and drop it off. The Lost Creek Lake Reservoir is close to a very large Cole Rivers Fish Hatchery and has a large supply of Rainbow and German Brown Trout, Small and Large Mouth Bass, and Coho and Kokonee. We have families that bring their boats and there is opportunities for water sports, fishing, boat rides, etc. The campground also has volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a playground, 11 miles of biking and hiking trails, summer programs for kids, and a day use area that includes boat ramps, swimming, fish cleaning station, a store, and more. The park is 40 miles from Crater Lake National Park and has many options for River Rafting on the Rogue and more.
The official camp out will run Thursday, June 20 through Sunday, June 23. Some families have chosen to extend their vacation time and go for the week of June 16-23 and others adjust their days to make it work best for them. We have reserved a block of camping spaces and can adjust the dates on your desired camping dates.
Camp Site – $24 a night + $7 reservation fee
Extra Vehicle – $7 a night, three vehicle maximum per site
Group Tent Site – $3 per person per night
Sites: Campsites are limited to eight people and only two extra vehicles per site to protect natural resources. All vehicles must be parked on pavement at the site or in a designated parking area. Once a site has three registered vehicles, no additional vehicles may enter the site. An extra vehicle fee of $7 per vehicle, per night will apply.

Wednesday Morning – Early Campers Breakfast
Friday – Cast Iron Cook Off – 6pm
Saturday – Fishing Derby ends at 4pm
Saturday Evening Potluck 6pm & Worship Service 7pm
Sunday – Travel Home
