Wildfire Relief Kits – I Can Help

Many Oregonians are going to return home after the fires to gather and collect anything they can. Silver Creek Fellowship has partnered with the Red Cross to build Wildfire Kits to be given to families who’s homes have been affected.  We have been assembling the kits together outside under a big tent. Please follow all the steps to the right (below on mobile).

New Information:
ALL OF OUR SHIFTS TO BUILD KITS ARE DONE. If we decide to assemble more kits we will let you know.

DRIVERS – We will be driving and distributing kits through the weekend and possibly a couple of days into next week.  If you would like to be a driver please complete Steps 1 and 2 to sign up with us and the Red Cross. Drivers are on call. We don’t always know where you will be going until the night before. You would arrive at 9:00 am at the church, receive your assignment, drive a medium size UHaul truck to a specified location, remain there all day and distribute wildfire kits to those who need them. It’s nice if there is a team of 2, preferably from one household. Locations probably will include towns in the Santiam Canyon, the coast, and Estacada area.

We will need each volunteer to complete a volunteer application for the Red Cross. See link to the right (below on mobile).

Where:
On our campus at 822 Industry Way NE, Silverton, OR.

Step 1- Contact information

Can you drive a UHaul truck to deliver and distribute Red Cross Wildfire kits for those affected by the fires? Involves leaving at 9:00 am, setting up in an assigned location, distributing kits, and arriving home around 5:00 pm. Must complete the Red Cross Volunteer Form below.

Step 2 -Red Cross Volunteer Form

Each person coming will need to complete the Red Cross Volunteer form by clicking on this button. This is a liability form for Red Cross. Only fill this out if you haven’t already. Please use a web browser other than Google Chrome as that seems to cause problems.
