Kids at SCF

Partnering with parents to make disciples

Here at Silver Creek Fellowship we believe that it is never too soon to begin the process of training and equipping our kids to take their place as effective members of the Body of Christ.  We also believe that they should begin to take that place not when they group up but as they grow up.  We think that can best happen in a safe, loving atmosphere with committed people using a Bible based curriculum to minister to our kids in every phase of their childhood development.  To that end we do everything we can to come alongside the parents to see our kids discover and be released into God’s purposes for their lives week by week and year after year.

We have a prophetic promise that kids from Silver Creek will be raised up and sent out to touch the nations.  We take this call/promise very seriously and so we invest a tremendous amount of time, talent and treasure toward seeing it accomplished.  We encourage you to join with on this great adventure.

Check In

Serving in Our Kid's Program

Interested in making a difference in a child’s life? Sign up to serve! We have many areas to serve on Sunday mornings including: teacher’s assistant, teacher, check in. Individuals interested in serving with children must have a completed background check and verifiable attendance at SCF of at least six months prior to working with children.
Print this card out and bring it with you!

The safety of your child while in our care is of great importance to us.

In order for your child to attend any of our classes on Sundays and Wednesday nights, you will need to visit our Children’s Ministry Check-in Desks where a trained volunteer will assist you in checking in your child.  Your child will be given a room assignment and security/check-in tags. The tag will include a three-digit security code. Place the tag on your child’s shirt and keep your security tag to pick up your child after the service. All kids, 0 -5th grade must check in on Sundays.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is my first time attending, what do I do?
Look for our Check-In Station in our lobby and one of our friendly Check In Attendants will be given a brief form with some basic information on it.  Return it to the attendant and you will receive name tags for each of your children with a 3 digit security code on it.  You will also receive a security tag that you will need in order to pick up your children (infants – preschool on Sundays).  To save time you can download this Registration Form and bring it with you.
How early can I check in my children?
Check-In is available 15 minutes prior to Sunday services.
What if I have more than one child?
You may register all your children on one registration form.
Can I check my own kids in without an attendant?
Yes, once you’ve filled out a registration card you can use our self check in stations on your next visit.  Just enter your phone number.
I was late and missed the Check In Attendant.
If this is your first visit on a Sunday morning and you didn’t check in your child before the service you can check them in when they are released to go to class.  The nursery room also has it’s own check in system.

We help even our youngest kids become familiar with Bible stories and learn about Jesus’ love for them. We provide kids with a place where they feel safe and cared for and can begin to learn how to trust God and others. Our nursery is for 0 – 3 years old. The toddler nursery is in room 3 and the infant nursery is in room 4.

Sunday Mornings – The nursery is available during both of our morning worship services.  Feel free to bring your child back anytime during the service.  If check in is unavailable in the lobby you may check in at Room 3 also.

ThursdayChurch – On Thursday evenings we offer childcare for kids 0 yrs. – 4 yrs old.  Check In will be in Room 3.

Dedicating Your Child

SCF believes children are a gift from God and celebrates parents who choose to raise their kids with godly principles. Dedication is a time of public and personal commitment, where parents make a covenant to teach their kids about building a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mornings. Our elementary age kids are divided up into two age groups on Sunday mornings.  Both groups are released to their classes after worship.  They learn more about God through singing, teaching, Bible stories, and life applications, spending time in small groups where they learn more about the lesson, ask questions, work through activities, and build relationships with their peers and group leaders. 4th and 5th graders are released back into the auditorium after the message. Parents must pick up students K – 3 in their classroom, located in room 1.
