Frequently Asked Questions

No matter how you ended up on our site, we are glad you are here. Take some time to get to know us, and we hope to get to know you soon.  If you want to see your life transformed and make a difference in the lives of others, we invite you to Silver Creek Fellowship. People have come into Silver Creek  from every walk of life and grown in their relationship with God, found meaningful friendships, and discovered the joy in serving others.

What Should I Expect Sunday Morning?

We have 2 services on Sunday morning: 9:00 am and 10:45 am with a short fellowship time in between. In our Sunday morning meeting we invite you to arrive a few minutes early to grab a cup of coffee/tea.  We start with a short welcome and worshiping God through song.  We would consider our worship style contemporary. During this time we encourage people to contribute prayers, a scripture, or something God may be impressing on them to encourage the church (1 Cor. 14:26).  Then we have a time of teaching from the Bible.  In between our two services we invite you to stay and fellowship over coffee and snacks. We also invite anyone who would like prayer for anything to stick around and receive prayer.

What Is Thursday Church?

Sports. Work. Vacations.  These activities happen on weekends. We are offering a new option for families and individuals who are juggling these activities and trying to be a part of Silver Creek Fellowship. Church on Thursday nights!  This service will be a little different than our Sunday morning service but follow the same themes.

Affordable meals will be offered at 6:00 pm for those who want to skip cooking and come early! There will be a nursery available for infants 0 – 4 years old.

Gathering together on a weekly basis to express our love for God, spend time together with His people, grow in our walk with Christ, serve together with one another, and share our stories with others makes a difference for the better in our lives.  It’s our hope that offering this service will open new doors to reach people, while also making it possible for those who are not always able to come on weekends to still experience a weekly worship gathering.

How Should I Dress?

We are a casual community of people, so feel free to come as you are.  If you enjoy dressing up, feel free to do that too.

Am I Expected To Give Money?

It is important to us that guests do not feel pressured to give.  The Bible teaches that giving should not be done out of compulsion, but rather a heart of worship.  Our primary concern is that you connect with Jesus.

What Kind of Church is Silver Creek Fellowship?

Silver Creek Fellowship is a non-denominational church that is a part of the Newfrontiers family of churches.  We are committed to becoming the kind of community described in the New Testament – a place of authentic relationships, heart-felt worship, compassion for others, relevant teaching, and an openness to the Holy Spirit.

What is Newfrontiers?

Silver Creek Fellowship is joined with a worldwide family of churches called Newfrontiers.  We feel God has connected our hearts together in mission, relationship, and shared values.  Through our relationship with Newfrontiers, we benefit from apostolic input and other ministries listed in Ephesians 4 (namely prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers – who travel amongst the churches.)  Together we are caring for our world by reaching the nations with the message of God’s grace.

How Can I Learn More?

Come to one of our Meet and Greets held on the first Sunday of each month after each service. Enjoy a snack and meet our leaders. Visit “The Hub” in our lobby and talk to one of our friendly attendants after each service on Sundays. Or keep reading on our website!

Child Check In

Our hope is that your kids will be fully engaged in our kid’s programs here at SCF.  We want you to be assured that they’ll be safe too. During our Sunday morning Kid’s Church (0 yrs. – 5th grade) and Thursday Church (0 – 4 yrs.) your child will be checked into their appropriate class. At check in, your family is assigned a random code printed on the child’s name tag and a corresponding security tag that you keep. When you pick up your child you must show your corresponding security tag. For more information about check in and our kid’s programs click here.
