ServingServing Those Inside and Outside The Church
We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our mission and process for discipleship. Out of this, gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
Sunday Morning Teachers/Check In
We have a prophetic promise that kids from Silver Creek will be raised up and sent out to touch the nations. We take this call/promise very seriously and so we invest a tremendous amount of time, talent and treasure toward seeing it accomplished. We encourage you to join with on this great adventure with our Sunday Morning Kid’s Church (3 yrs – 5th grade). The curriculum is easy to use. Teachers generally will teach one Sunday per month. Once a background check is performed you will be trained and put to work teaching our children about Jesus and helping to make Sundays the best hour of their week. We also need helpers to assist new families with check in for Kid’s Church. We will train you. You just need to feel comfortable on a computer and be able to smile as you welcome new people!
The Hub Information Specialist
Do you like meeting new people? The Hub Information Specialist provides information for visitors, answer questions about various ministries, and assists the pastor while greeting guests after each service. They serve on Sundays from 10:00 am – 10:15 am or 11:45 pm to 12:00 pm one to two Sundays per month.
You don’t have to know everything to do this job, just know how to direct a person in the right direction!
We love to look at pictures of our people and our events and are looking for people who love to take them! If you have a love of photography and would like to be on our team click here!
The communion team needs help with clean up. Job duties include counting the cups and washing the communion trays after the service. Each person would only need to serve three times during the year, the first Sunday of the month for about 20 minutes. We especially need help after the 10:30 am service on Sundays which ends at 11:45 am. Contact Joanne Stone if you are interested.
Kids and Youth
There are so many ways you can help the Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry that will suit your skills and talents. Working with ages birth through 12th grade will always be a rewarding experience!
First impressions are often lasting. We need friendly faces and helpful hands on the front line to represent Silver Creek Fellowship and the body of Christ to the many people who visit us on a weekly basis.
We want our weekend services to run smoothly as we glorify God through worshiping as a community. Whether you thrive behind the scenes or by sharing your musical gifts with the church, we have a place for you.
Find Where You Fit
